Benefits of using Cinnamon sticks.

  1. Regular consumption of boiling water with pinch of Cinnamon powder is beneficial.
  2. Cinnamon contains large amounts of highly potent polyphenol antioxidants which have anti-inflammatory effects.
  3. Cinnamaldehyde is an essential oil present in the bark that has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties.
  4. Cinnamon is rich in antioxidants such as choline, beta carotene, alpha-carotene, etc. Cinnamon is so powerful that it acts as a natural food preservative.
  5. Cinnamon powder contains anti-ageing properties too, hence it can be used to treat your saggy skin. Grind some cinnamon powder and mix with few drops of honey. Now apply this paste on your face and allow it to dry. Rub and wash off after 10 minutes. Follow up with moisturiser.
  6. For glowing skin, tried the Cinnamon pack once a week. Mix 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder with 1 tablespoon yogurt and 1 tablespoon honey to form a thick paste. Apply it on your face for 10 minutes and rinse off with water. Follow up with moisturiser.
