Celery is a great detoxifying ingredient due to its high water content. Additionally, celery is a rich source of luteolin and apigenin, two anti-inflammatory compounds that help minimise body swelling and ease pregnant bloating.
Tomatoes are high in Lycopene, an antioxidant that can reduce the risk of various diseases. Additionally they are high in vitamin A and C which are essential for the immune system.
Ingredients
- 500 ml. Water.
- ¼ cup roughly chopped Celery.
- 1 Tomato
Method
- Boi water and keep aside to cool down and fill it in the infuser bottle or in a pitcher.
- Roughly chop Celery leaves and keep aside. Cut Tomato into 8 pieces and add both in the pitcher.
- Close the lid and keep aside for 2-3 hours to infuse the essence of both.
- Strain the water and consume it within 8-10 hours.
