Ingredients
- 1 cup Kaju ( Cashew nut) powder.
- ½ cup Milk powder
- 5 tbsp. powdered Sugar
- 3 tbsp. Milk( at room temperature)
- 1 tsp. Ghee to smooth the dough.
Method
- Dry roast Cashews and keep aside.
- Before grinding make sure Cashew nuts are at room temperature.
- Grind Cashews in pulse mode otherwise oil oozes out.
- Grind Sugar into fine powder and keep aside.
- In a big mixing bowl mix Cashew powder, Milk powder, Sugar powder and Cardamom powder
- Add milk in the mixing bowl and knead a soft dough.
- For giving shine and smooth consistency apply 1 tsp ghee on the dough.
- Make Modak out of it.
- If you like more sweet taste and some dry texture then sprinkle some sugar powder over it.
- Offer Kaju Modak to Ganpati Bappa with love, faith and devotion.
