(337) Mango Waffle

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Aam ras.
  • 1 cup suji.
  • 2 tbsp. Ghee.
  • ⅛ tsp. Baking powder.
  • Date syrup for garnishing.

Method

  1. Mix ghee moin and baking powder with rawa.
  2. Now mix Aamras with rawa and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Pour batter in preheated greased waffle maker.
  4. After 15 to 20 minutes Mango Waffle is ready to serve.
  5. Garnish with Maple syrup or honey or Date syrup and serve hot with love and smile.

(335) Rock Candy

Misri  Powder ( Dhagewali misri)

Break rock candy or khadi sakhar or Misri into small pieces with the help of motor and pestal and then grind into coarse powder. If you grind into a fine powder then the lump will form after some days.

Benefits of using Misri

  • Misri stimulate lactation in new mothers. It also helps in dealing with mood swings, depression that are often seen in new mothers, as a result of post-partum depression.
  • Misris are rich in various minerals, vitamins and amino acids, regular consumption of rock sugar not only triggers better blood circulation but also prevents other complications associated with anaemia like dizziness, fatigue and weakness.
  • Rock sugar is better than regular sugar and is a powerhouse of various nutrients. Ayurveda recommends it for better eyesight, preventing cataract. Consume it along with milk for improving vision.
  • After consuming a heavy meal. Eat half a teaspoon of mishri along with fennel seeds. Consuming misri after a meal adds in proper digestion, by stimulating digestive juices and helps prevent gastric problems.

Either grind all four grains individually and mix flour according to your need or mix all four grains and then grind.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Sabudana.
  • ¼ cup Moraiyo.
  • ¼ cup Kutti daro.
  • ¼ cup Rajgira.
  • 1 tsp. Cumin.

Method

  1. Dry roast all ingredients together on a slow flame.
  2. When ingredients turn aromatic switch off the flame.
  3. After cooling grind it into coarse powder.
  4. Store in an air tight container for 15 days.

(333) Coco Protein Powder

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Almonds.
  • ½ cup Cashews.
  • ½ cup Pistachio.
  • 2 cup Lotus seeds (Makhana).
  • 100 gms. Coco Powder.

Method

  1. Dry roast all the nuts on a slow flame and keep aside.
  2. Dry roast makhana on a slow flame. When you break a single makhana with your fingers then it will easily break down. This means makhana are perfectly roasted.
  3. Make a coarse powder of all dry roasted ingredients.
  4. Mix thoroughly Coco powder with coarse powder of dry fruits and makhana.
  5. Store in an air tight container.
  6. NB why not fine powder ? Because for making fine powder we have to grind more which results in oil separating out from dry fruits and making it lumpy. So always grind in pulse mode and keep it granular.
  7. Mixing of 3 tbsp. of powder is ideal for 300 ml. of milk.
